This Privacy Policy explains how JustAnother Audio — a brand of REAV Rafał Sztaba — handles personal data when you visit our website, buy a license, activate or use our software, or contact us.
It is written for the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Polish data protection law.
1. WHO WE ARE

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer because we are not required to do so under Article 37 GDPR.
2. PURCHASES THROUGH MOONBASE
We sell software licenses through Moonbase (moonbase.sh), which acts as our Merchant of Record. Moonbase handles the purchase transaction, payment processing, invoices, taxes, refunds, and chargebacks.
Moonbase is a separate data controller for the checkout and payment process. Its own terms and privacy policy apply to the data it collects during checkout.
After a purchase, we may receive the limited information needed to deliver and support your license, such as:
- Name and email address
- Country of residence
- Order reference
- Product purchased
- License key or activation token
- Purchase status, refund status, or chargeback status
3. DATA WE COLLECT
3.1 Website data
When you visit https://justanother.audio, our hosting and infrastructure providers may process standard technical data, including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages requested, referring URL, timestamps, and security logs.
The website may use local storage or session storage for ordinary site functions, including opening Moonbase checkout, cart, or account views. Moonbase may also store data needed to run its storefront and checkout overlay.
We do not currently use advertising cookies or marketing trackers on the website. We do not sell visitor data.
3.2 Purchase and license data
When you buy a product, we process the purchase and license data we receive from Moonbase so we can deliver the software, verify the license, provide support, and handle account-related questions.
3.3 Activation data
When you activate or use the software, we may process:
- License key or activation token
- Machine identifier hash used to enforce activation limits
- Operating system and version
- Plugin version
- IP address associated with activation or license-server requests
We use this data for license verification, fraud prevention, compatibility checks, and support. We do not collect your audio, DAW projects, presets, session files, recordings, or any material you create with the software.
3.4 Support data
If you contact us, we process your email address and anything you include in the message, such as system details, screenshots, crash descriptions, or logs you choose to send.

5. WHO WE SHARE DATA WITH
We share data only when needed to operate the website, sell and deliver licenses, provide support, or comply with the law. Recipients may include:
- Moonbase — Merchant of Record for purchase, checkout, billing, tax, and refund processing.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — used to host the website, licensing systems, and related technical services.
- Email providers — used for support replies and transactional messages.
- Professional advisors — accountants, lawyers, or other advisors where necessary.
- Public authorities — only when required by a valid legal obligation.
We do not sell personal data.
6. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we use appropriate safeguards, such as an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or equivalent lawful transfer mechanisms.
7. RETENTION
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above, unless a longer period is required by law.
Typical retention periods are:
- Purchase and accounting records: for the period required by Polish tax and accounting law.
- Active license records: for as long as the license remains active, plus the period needed for support, warranty, and legal-claim purposes.
- Support messages: usually up to 3 years after the last interaction.
- Website server logs: usually up to 12 months, unless needed longer for security or legal reasons.
- Activation logs: for as long as needed to operate licensing, enforce activation limits, investigate abuse, and provide support.
8. YOUR RIGHTS
Under the GDPR, you may have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of data
- Restrict processing
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Receive a portable copy of your data
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

9. COOKIES AND LOCAL STORAGE
The website uses only the storage needed for ordinary site functions and Moonbase checkout/account/cart behavior. We do not currently use advertising cookies or marketing trackers.
You can block or delete cookies and storage through your browser settings. Some checkout or account functions may stop working if you do that.
10. MARKETING
We do not currently run a newsletter on this website. If we add marketing emails later, they will require a clear opt-in and will include an unsubscribe method.
Transactional messages, license delivery, support replies, and important service notices are not marketing.
11. CHILDREN
Our products and website are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
12. SECURITY
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted transport, access controls, and data minimization.
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a personal data breach that requires notification, we will notify the relevant authority and affected users as required by law.
13. CHANGES
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is published on this page with its effective date.
