What it does

It is
an EQ.

It does EQ. But also other things...

A parametric EQ with dynamic processing, spectral control, split-signal processing, and per-band saturation. Built for mixing, mastering, and other things that your parents would not understand anyway.

Features

What's inside.

Feature 01

Parametric EQ

Bells, shelves, high-pass, low-pass etc. Smooth response, predictable phase and nyquist behaviour. Fully parametric. It does what an EQ should do.

Smaller features

A few more details.

/ 01

24 Bands

More than enough. If not, you probably have bigger problems.

/ 02

Channel & Split Focus

Generally it's better to listen in context, but sometimes you have to dig deeper.

/ 03

Sidechain

Internal, External, free range and whichever channel you need.

/ 04

Per Band delta

Hear what one band is doing. Probably something good, but it's good to check.

/ 05

Continuous Slope

Probably not necessary, but its good to have options.

/ 06

Insert Preview

Preview a filter before adding it. Less guessing and pretty nice visually.

Use Cases

What it's used for.

Real situations where it earns its keep.

01

Mixing

Shape individual tracks. Cut mud. Bring presence forward. Fix what's in the way.

02

Mastering

Subtle tonal balance on the full mix. Dynamic EQ for gentle control without compression artifacts.

03

Resonance Control

Spectral processing hunts and suppresses problem resonances without touching the rest of the signal.

04

Drum Processing

Split transient from body. EQ the attack without blurring the tail. Or vice versa.

05

Stereo Width Work

Mid/side processing per band. Widen the highs, tighten the lows. Without a separate plugin.

06

Harmonic Addition

Per-band saturation when a frequency needs more than just gain. Useful. Subtle when you want it.

FAQ

Questions, answered briefly.

Coming soon. The EQ is macOS only for now.
It was accurate enough. I know it does all of the other stuff too, but theoretically speaking, EQ is an audio processing tool that allows you to adjust the volume level of specific frequencies. So I guess it does that, but in a more detailed way.
